One of our natural stops in Portland was the Japanese Garden. The chibibis and Muk muk were very happy to be out in nature again!

The bamboo cover is a nice touch.
Love mossy trees. There's all kinds of associations they evoke.
And if you look closely, a koi carp as well. Just a nicely tranquil scene

Chibibifox spent some time fishing at the chibibi-sized stream. Unfortunately for him, there were no fish to catch. He was a bit growly afterwards.

It houses the gift shop, and so we bought some trinkets and gifts, because it seemed a sensible thing to do at the time.
It looks like a bird simply deposited this mushroom on a pine tree. Whether that's what happened or not, or looked unusual enough to take a picture of.
As we were about to leave it was starting to rain, so there was one final photo of the chibibis posing in front of the visitor center garden, and that was the end of the Japanese garden trip.
